JOHOR BAHRU – Iran basketball team maintained its 100 percent record in the FIBA Asia U-16 Championship by beating Jordan on Sunday.

Iran defeated the West Asian team 70-51 in the match held at the Bandaraya Stadium.
Iran, which has overcome Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia in the first round, is to face the Philippines on Monday.
The top two teams of the tournament will qualify for the inaugural 2010 FIBA U17 World Championship to be played in Hamburg, Germany from July 2 to 11
